muli cycles: A dealer portal

that people actually enjoy using

muli cycles builds cargo bikes that are smarter than city traffic - crazy fair, made in Germany. To bring that same quality into their sales process, we developed a completely new dealer portal together: a central platform that consolidates all dealer workflows, reflects the brand with precision, and makes everyday work genuinely enjoyable.

muli cycles: A dealer portal

"Das neue Dealer-Portal hat unsere Zusammenarbeit mit den Händlern grundlegend verändert. Wir haben endlich eine Plattform, die unsere Marke widerspiegelt und unseren Vertrieb spürbar entlastet. Der Prozess mit Beyonder war transparent, strukturiert und auf Augenhöhe – genau so, wie wir uns eine Zusammenarbeit vorstellen."

The Challenge

The existing dealer portal was tightly coupled to the ERP system, unintuitive to use, and difficult to extend. Dealers and the sales team were frustrated: the bike configurator was cumbersome, and the brand identity barely came through.

muli cycles needed a system that brings all dealer processes together in one place: orders, spare parts, training materials, and marketing assets and one that doesn't just work, but actually feels good to use.

The Challenge

The Solution

We built a modern dealer portal as a React single-page application - the central digital platform for the entire dealer journey. From product configuration and ordering to backorder tracking, how-to libraries, and sales training.

The integration with their existing ERP system ERPNext runs through a decoupled TypeScript backend layer, designed to accommodate future system changes with ease. Consistent brand identity and a fast, intuitive interface weren't nice-to-haves - they were measurable project goals.

The Team & How We Worked

We kicked off the project with a structured digitalization workshop, mapping out a User Story Map and prioritizing all requirements together. From there, our team and muli cycles jointly estimated every story - making budget and scope fully transparent from day one.

Development ran in agile Scrum sprints, guided by a certified Scrum Master and delivered by a dedicated team covering frontend, backend, and design. Progress was tracked through a live burnup chart, so muli cycles always had full visibility and a real say in what came next.
