L.O.S. GmbH & Co. KG has spent over 15 years helping agricultural businesses get their paperwork under control - developed side by side with hundreds of farmers across Germany. We built them a fully custom document management system with AI-powered search, designed from the ground up for the realities of modern farm operations.

L.O.S. had been relying on off-the-shelf software, but that meant depending on a vendor's roadmap and accepting a product that never quite fit their users' needs.

The goal was a fully tailored solution, built around the specific workflows of agricultural businesses. Non-negotiable: full digital sovereignty, EU-compliant data protection, and hosting exclusively in Germany. The new system also needed to handle a document archive of over one million files and make them intelligently searchable.

We built a custom DMS with an integrated AI RAG system that manages and intelligently indexes more than one million documents. Full-text search lets users retrieve any document in seconds - on desktop, tablet, or smartphone, from anywhere in the world.

AWS Bedrock serves as the LLM infrastructure, with a German hosting location that satisfies all data sovereignty and compliance requirements. The system integrates seamlessly into L.O.S.'s existing scanner workflow and handles incoming documents with fully automated classification and filing.
