TeamPraxis

For faster and better catering for all patients

To date, the benefits of GP-centered care (HZV) have primarily been communicated through physicians. Existing patients were generally informed by practice staff via a flyer. Consequently, it has been difficult to reach new patients—such as those looking for a new GP practice or those actively interested in HZV-based care.

The German General Practitioners Association e. V. is the largest professional association of practicing doctors in Germany and Europe. Together with his 18 regional associations, he founded the General Practitioner Contract Association AG (HÄVG). The central task of the company, based in Cologne, is the negotiation and processing of contracts between health insurance companies and doctors as well as the implementation of innovative care concepts.

TeamPraxis

The challenge

The goal was to create a platform where interested patients could find information about family practice offices without having to pick up a flyer from a practice.

Stephan Hofer

IT Project Manager at "HÄVG Rechenzentrum GmbH"

"I have previously successfully developed complex custom software with various teams from Beyonder. It was great to see that an end-user-oriented application like TeamPraxis could also be implemented with the Beyonder team through a smooth and pleasant process."

The solution

With https://team-praxis.de, HÄVG has created a compact, user-friendly resource tailored to the target audience. Patients can find comprehensive information at their own pace regarding the benefits and obligations associated with HZV (GP-centered care). If interested, they can immediately locate and contact a participating practice in their area.
