The challenge

True understanding requires non-stop monitoring, which is humanly impossible across thousands of birds. The core challenge lay in converting over a century of veterinary expertise into reliable, actionable data. To train an AI model to flawlessly recognize these distinct behavioral patterns, specialists first had to manually review and label more than 40,000 images.

The system functions as a digital brain and an extra set of eyes in the barn that never sleep. Smart cameras continuously capture footage, which the trained AI model processes at lightning speed.

This complex data is instantly translated into an intuitive app for the poultry farmer. The dashboard provides real-time insights into six crucial behaviors, flagging anomalies and patterns long before they are visible to the naked eye. This delivers enhanced operational efficiency and time savings, while giving farmers the ultimate peace of mind to intervene proactively whenever animal welfare requires it.
