SmartCode
Impossible projects, made possible.
Too expensive. Too complex. Too risky. Too lengthy. The summary of why most transformations and projects fail. Or not even start. AI changes that game. With SmartCode, we can analyze deeper, build faster and manage more efficient. Making the impossible, possible.
Applied AI
Not because it's a buzzword. Because it makes a huge difference.
Our proprietary SmartCode methodology restructures the entire project lifecycle. Delivering speed, control and the never-ever-legacy promise.
AI takes over the repetitive execution: processing data, generating code, writing tests, and curating documentation so our architects and engineers focus their energy where it matters most: deep business logic, complex integrations, security safeguards and the architectural calls that require human judgment.
Analyze deeper
Delivering a view on your organization which you have never seen before
We start off with raw input from all kinds of sources and process it into clear documentation. We feed curated data into your own Memory Bank so it will never get lost again. With humans on the loop so you are sure the right data, content and context is stored. From this, in days instead of weeks, we can present you a view of your company like you never had before.
Build faster
Using open standards to prevent lock-in and be future proof
Your company specific AI agent set will do the legwork. Continuously using and feeding your Memory Bank. With humans on the loop to validate and curate. In quicker cycles, multiple times a week.
Real experience still counts
You can only learn an AI agent what to do if you know what it takes yourself.
That’s why the SmartCode methodology was created by the people who know how to build high quality and secure software solutions. For more than 10 years and many customers. Some fundamental elements include:
AI Guardrails
AI Memorybank
AI Plan, Code, Documentation
QA Code review
QA Testpath gen
QA Automated tests
QA Pipeline automation
QA Spec validation

Two questions decide most digital decisions: where do we start, and what is worth building first. Bring those to the table. In 30 minutes we look at your landscape, the pressure you are under, and where the value and the risk really sit.
What we cover in the call
• Your biggest digital challenge right now, in your words.
• A first read of your landscape: what holds you back, what is worth keeping, where AI and automation can pay off.
• A sense of the route: what a realistic first step could look like, and roughly what it would take.
What you leave with
• A clearer view of where to start, whether or not you work with us.
• An honest answer on whether this method will fit your challenge.
The ten questions you're already asking.
SmartCode is how we build software with AI at every stage: analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and delivery. It follows five phases, Understand, Design, Plan, Build and Evolve, each backed by a Memory Bank that keeps every agent working with full context.
Scrum runs on two week sprints with stand-ups, planning and retrospectives. SmartCode runs shorter cycles, two to three review sessions a week, with smaller teams because AI handles more of the repeating work. The team ratio shifts from development towards analysis and quality assurance.
No. We build on open standards specifically to prevent lock-in, so your system stays future proof and portable.
No. Every AI output goes through a Validate, Curate, Generate loop. Our engineers review, test and sign off before anything moves forward. AI by Default is one of our three non-negotiables, but People First comes before it.
On legacy replacement projects we've seen up to three times faster delivery, depending on the phase. For SMP, we delivered environmental plans in weeks instead of months, at a fraction of the traditional cost.
It's a curated knowledge base built from your codebase, documentation, processes and interviews. Every AI agent on the project draws from it, so design decisions made in week one still inform testing and documentation months later.
No. AI accelerates delivery, you stay in control of every decision. That's the point of Secure by Design and People First: speed without losing oversight.
We build long term by value, not by contract. Every platform ships with full documentation, training and code your team can run and extend themselves, using open standards so you're never locked into our tooling.
Testing is built into every sprint, not added at the end. That includes automated QA, code review, test path generation and pipeline automation, so quality checks run continuously rather than in one big phase before launch.
In the Understand phase we map your architecture, domain model, non-functionals and current processes, using interviews, recordings and existing documentation. This phase typically runs one to two weeks and can save over 70% of the time a manual discovery would take.
In the Design phase we define the product vision, features, workflows, data model and UX/UI, and produce a clickable prototype for validation. Nothing gets built until you've reviewed and approved the design.
No. The Evolve phase covers release, onboarding, monitoring and support, including incident analysis and continuous improvement. Software doesn't end at go-live, and neither does our involvement.
The architects in the first meeting are the architects on the build. You work with a team that knows your system, not a rotating cast.
It depends on scope. We usually start with a scoping workshop to give you a ballpark estimate, or a Project Kickstart that delivers a working MVP in two to four weeks for a fixed price. From there we agree what ongoing support looks like.
Most projects start with a scoping workshop or a kickoff that maps your current situation, product vision and roadmap. From there we move straight into the Understand phase.
Both. The same five phases and Memory Bank approach apply whether we're replacing an old system or building something new from scratch.
