Making an impact with design

I’ve been working at Beyonder as a UX/UI Designer for two years now. After completing my Master’s in Strategic Product Design at TU Delft, I was looking for a place where I could oversee projects from start to finish, with direct contact with clients and end-users.

In my work, I love being the connector, the link between disciplines.

I enjoy being the central figure, connecting with clients and colleagues, and solving complex puzzles together. My role is about much more than just creating beautiful designs; it’s about understanding what’s going on, bringing together different perspectives, and setting the course.

Communication within a team isn’t always straightforward. That’s why I like to take the time to visualize processes and ideas, working together with all stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and co-creation sessions. This way, we ensure that we’re not only solving the problem correctly but also addressing the right problem. It gives me a lot of energy to see how a clear process leads to solutions that benefit everyone.

At Beyonder, it’s all about finding the perfect balance between hard work and having fun. The bond with colleagues feels like friendship, making work not only productive but also incredibly enjoyable. It’s truly unique to be part of a team where everyone trusts and values one another.

Looking ahead, I want to use my role as a designer to help organizations and society move forward. I believe that sustainable impact arises when we return to what’s natural to us: play. By incorporating playful elements, we can drive behavioral change and create real transformation.
